Az's instrumental music has been used in films since 2004. In addition to licensing music from his albums, Az has composed music for short films including for Salvaj (Winner - Best Short Film - Festival Filem Malaysia Ke-27). Az has worked with Lemonsky Studios, award-winning film directors James Lee, We Jun Cho and Kharil M. Bahar.
