The Jazz Guitar Improvisation I Course:
A step-by-step 5-month program designed to make you a better jazz guitar improviser!

What will you learn?

• 10 classic jazz standards that will increase your repertoire (you'll learn real music & not just exercises) These songs include Autumn Leaves, Misty, Blue Monk, All The Things You Are and Blues For Alice
• 10 essential improvisation concept to solo in the language (and sound authentic at jam sessions!)
• Scales, arpeggios and soloing techniques that are directly related to the songs you'll learn (evertyhing is in context so you're not left with licks that you can't use in real life)

How will you learn?

• You'll learn 1 song per class, where you'll be guided to the secrets behind the melody, harmony and building blocks of it all. (This is the same approach they use at classes at Berklee College of Music!)
• Each class is 2-hours so you will have a focused session that is personalized to your pace. Everyone is different and you will get your problems and challenges addressed.
• Learn by doing! You will learn concepts and start jamming in small bite size sections to get the hang of it. After each class, your assignment will be to write a solo that combines what you've learned. (This is how Mick Goodrick taught me and many of his students in his famous Berklee Advanced Guitar Labs)
